Went to a talk called 'Social Media Makeover' by Antonio Gould, a nice guy who seems to know a lot about the subject. Although I know some stuff about the technical aspects of blogging and social media, I have been struggling a little with whether I should be using them on my website or if I should just have a static website instead. I found it helpful and it gave me all the answers I was looking for...and at the very least it has given me a kick and prompted me to add a few updates! I also promised More Info...

I have pushed back the dates for this yet again. (I know... bad me!) I have a good excuse this time though! I have decided to put work into the Allotments exhibition at Standing Room which is in Harrington Mill Studios. So I have been working on that and working on the website for it as well... ALTHOUGH... I am doing some research for the project throughout December. One thing I am particularly looking forward to is that I am being allowed to sit in on a Forensic Photography class at Lincoln University for a day. More Info...

I have installed and tested loads more content management systems and finally settled on Drupal (I think?!) because of its large amount of support and documentation. I will be working on moving everything over during December and hopefully be done by January.

Tea Room Contemplations: An Enthnographic Survey of Tea Rooms in England and Wales. This is the first series of work within the Arkhe project. (I am finally getting around to listing it in here!)At the moment it is still in the information gathering stage but I hope to be starting to work on it seriously before the Open event in October and have it well underway by January!

My website needs a change! I am working on yet another version of my website. At the moment it is using a custom system built by Simon. It is really good (even though it only took him like 5 minutes to make :P) but I want more stuff to be added... and well... Simon is really busy these days with Shartak. I have been busy testing out loads of different content management systems. CMS made simple seems like the best one so far, though it isn't exactly what I am looking for.
